NC Early Childhood Foundations

  This course will provide participants with an introduction to Foundations, North Carolina’s new early learning and development expectations, how the standards are structured, and how to implement them in early childhood settings. Participants will construct the knowledge base necessary to use the standards in supporting children in their learning and development by embedding the expectations in daily classroom planning and practice. CPR

  The Heart Saver CPR Course is a course that teaches lay rescuers how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking for adult, child, and infant victims. First Aid & Safety

Child Care providers will be instructed on the basics of how to provide first aid during an emergency.  The Heart Saver First Aid Course teaches rescuers to effectively recognize and treat adult emergencies in the critical first minutes until emergency medical services personnel arrive.
